These gates are traditionally constructed from Iroko hardwood which have been pre treated with a basecoat preservative and then left to weather naturally to a silvery grey finish.
The key feature here is that the gate and post material match exactly, this is because the posts are actual steel box section over cladded with matching Iroko hardwood board and post caps our recommended way doing things
The automation kit installed is the BFT LUX hydraulic surface mounted operator ram that has anti crush by pass valves and built in stops. The gates are operated via hand held transmitters in the semi automatic mode.
Safety equipment installed is photocell beams and underground induction safety loop detectors.
The matching pedestrian gate has a manual latch that allows access for the postman and other visitors on foot.
This particular gate is installed in the village of Priors Hardwick, Warwickshire and is a good example a traditional open pale gate style
AGD Systems carried out the whole installation with the civil works and power supply requirements being provided by the main contractor Trendgrey Construction based in Warwickshire.
Our sister company, The Garage Door Centre supplied and installed the automatic Hormann sectional garage door which can be seen behind the gate entrance.
